Our 1st Empower U for the Year. The Best of all time?
This year marks the 15 Year Anniversary for Tomorrows Youth International and the Empower U program!! What a way to celebrate with an absolutely phenomenal weekend. It was one of the best programs, if not the best, run in the last 15 years.
There were an extraordinary amount of participants who really just committed to the weekend from the start, right on the Friday night. It usually takes some more time into the program before everyone is fully engaged but by the Saturday morning, we already knew this was a great group. If anything, this weekend reinforced to me the importance of the work we are doing in light of what I am seeing as a rise in depression and anxiety in young people.

This my third Empower U experience with Brent and I swear every time it gets better and better. My favourite thing about this Empower U was all of the beautiful people. Everyone was so enthusiastic and they all went down the waterslide so fast.
It really made the whole thing amazing and really inspired me to do all of the things I committed to last time but didn’t do. All in all, revisiting is just so much more amazing and I loved seeing everyone go through this amazing process alongside me.

My mum actually got me to Empower U and I had no idea what it was. So I searched it up on YouTube and people started saying it changed their lives and I was like “yeah right”. She even said I had to pay.
I just decided to do it in the end and I’m glad I did. Brent will 100% change the way you think and feel about yourself. He will get you out of your comfort zone and teach you very important life skills.
We are now looking forward to our next Empower U to be held in Canberra in a few weeks time. It will be from the 18th to 21st March 2016.
