Environment is Key

Well… to answer that question, I’ll give you a quote that one of my friends gave me a while ago that really stuck with me… “When a fish is sick, you don’t treat the fish, you treat the water.” I love this quote because it’s about how we can heal, motivate, and positively improve ourselves by creating an environment that will foster that change.

By revisiting Empower U, our participants are creating that positive environment through the community and friendships, as well as reminding themselves of the learning and commitments they made. Beyond that, our Assist team is comprised of the most outstanding participants that have come along to a number of programs, and have become living proof that sticking around this environment is what leads to life-long change.
